Refund policy

 

We're not just a shop, we're a community of nerds, and dammit, this will be a happy community! So at GeekCore we have an industry leading 100 day returns policy* subject to Terms and Conditions. If you're not happy for any reason, as long as your item is still in "new and resalable" condition, we'll be happy to refund or exchange it for you within 100 days of purchase.

Exclusions from the '100 day returns' policy

  • Swimwear**
  • Underwear**
  • Earrings**
  • Perishable items such as confectionery or food**
  • Any products will a seal (such as software), where the seal has been broken**
  • Seasonal items (including Christmas jumpers, stockings, tree decorations)***
  • Business or speculative purchases - Including account activity we deem to be abusing our returns policy, speculative purchases conducted in the pursuit of profit or purchases in multiples of 2 or more.****

In some cases, some items, may have their own exclusions to the 100 day return policy. These items will have their restrictions detailed in the description area of the product page. 

* We must receive your return within 100 days of the purchase date. The 100 day return policy excludes swimwear, underwear, earrings, seasonal items, (such as Christmas jumpers, stockings and tree decorations). You will be entitled to a full refund or exchange, (excluding delivery upgrades such as Special Delivery or Courier), provided your return is received within 30 days of the purchase date. If your return is received after 30 days of the purchase date, a charge is deducted for the original postage cost incurred. For orders that paid a postage charge, no delivery charges will be refunded, and for orders that qualified for free shipping, the cost of dispatch will be deducted from your refund. Items must be returned in a 'new and resalable' condition, undamaged and complete with all original packaging and tags (if applicable). We reserve the right to refuse returns that are not received in a condition we consider acceptable. 

**These products can only be returned in accordance with your legal rights (for example, if they are not fit for purpose, are defective or are not as described). 

*** A standard 30 day return/exchange policy applies on these items. 

Please be advised that for orders which qualified for our threshold of promotional reduced or free delivery, any partial order returns that result in the original order value falling below the promotional free delivery or reduced delivery thresholds will have our standard postage charges applied retrospectively. For example a customer ordering £70 of goods, selecting free delivery, later decides to return items worth £35 - as a result this, this order no longer meets our free delivery threshold. A £3.99 postage charge will therefore be deducted from any refund. This does not apply in cases of returns made as a result of faulty items or because of errors made by Geekcore. 

**** Geekcore is primarily a B2C website, and while we do not encourage B2B orders or speculative purchases on site - we will not actively restrict such purchases unless there is a quantity limit applicable. We do have additional terms for transactions we identify as such. Returns or cancellations identified as 'speculative purchasing' i.e. purchasing multiples to resell for profit, or transactions for commercial or business purposes can be refused at our discretion. In the event we approve your return request, charges for non recoverable costs incurred by Geekcore (merchant fees and transactions fees) and a charge of administration and (if applicable) postage will be deducted from any refund provided.  This charge is 15% of the total value of all transactions cancelled or refunded plus a postage charge at the original cost of dispatch.   

Please be advised that accounts we believe are abusing our returns policy and / or are returning at a level we do not deem sustainable may have account restrictions placed on them or have return requests refused.

We do not currently offer free returns or exchanges. We will however post any items that you have requested to exchange back to you for free.
